In Novaliches, operatives of Police Station 4 arrested alias “Suhaimin,” 27, at around 4:30 p.m. on May 5 on Interior Masaya Street in Barangay Gulod, following a buy-bust operation based on tip from a concerned citizen.
A police officer acted as poseur-buyer and was able to purchase P1,200 worth of shabu from the suspect.
Recovered from the suspect were 33 grams of shabu valued at P224,400, a cellphone, a black pouch, and the buy-bust money.
In a separate operation in Tandang Sora, operatives of the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) arrested alias “Ralph,” 34, at around 3:15 p.m. on May 4 in front of a fast-food establishment at the corner of Tandang Sora Avenue and San Miguel Road in Barangay Pasong Tamo, also through a buy-bust operation.
Confiscated from the suspect were 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000, a cellphone, a charger, and the buy-bust money used in the operation.
Police verification showed that Suhaimin had a robbery case in June 2021, while Ralph had previous arrests for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Both suspects will face charges before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for violation of Republic Act 9165.
