Robinsons Land bets on 'destination estates' with new design awards
Robinsons Land President and CEO Mybelle Aragon-GoBio is conferred the title of Fellow in Real Estate Management at the FIABCI Philippines 2026 Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards.
Robinsons Land Corp., the property arm of billionaire John Gokongwei’s JG Summit Holdings Inc., secured two gold honors at the 2026 FIABCI Philippines Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards amid the developer’s continued expansion in the high-end residential and mixed-use segments.
The real estate firm’s Sierra Valley Gardens project, a multi-tower development under the RLC Residences brand, took the top prize in the Residential High-Rise category.
Meanwhile, The Victor, a 60-meter stainless-steel monument located within the Bridgetowne estate, was recognized in the Specialized/Purpose-Built category. The accolades, presented during a gala in Manila, are organized by the local chapter of the International Real Estate Federation, known as FIABCI.
The recognition comes as Robinsons Land ramps up its “destination estate” strategy, which integrates commercial, residential, and office spaces into master-planned hubs.
Sierra Valley Gardens is situated within an 18-hectare estate spanning Cainta and Taytay in Rizal province. Positioned as a gateway to the eastern corridor of Metro Manila, the project targets suburban buyers by incorporating smart-home technology and nature-inspired amenities.
The development’s market performance and design quality were central to its evaluation by the FIABCI panel, which assesses projects on environmental impact and execution.
In the specialized category, The Victor serves as the centerpiece of Bridgetowne, a premiere estate that straddles the border of Quezon City and Pasig City. Designed by Filipino-American artist Jefrë Manuel-Figueras, the sculpture is intended to symbolize Filipino resilience and the “winning spirit.” Beyond its aesthetic value, the award highlights the installation’s role in infrastructure and public art, contributing to the identity of the broader township which includes office towers and retail centers.
The gold wins in the Philippines qualify both Sierra Valley Gardens and The Victor for endorsement to the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards. This international competition provides a platform for Philippine developers to compete against global peers, a move Robinsons Land executives view as a benchmark for local real estate meeting international standards.
Robinsons Land continues to leverage its diversified portfolio to capture demand in both the suburban fringe and core urban centers. By focusing on destination-building and large-scale public art, the company aims to differentiate its townships in an increasingly competitive domestic market. The company’s focus remains on delivering world-class projects that emphasize connectivity and modern living as it scales its presence across the country.
