Body of woman found buried in remote Benguet barangay

BOKOD, Benguet — A 72-year-old woman was found dead and buried in remote Barangay Daclan here on Sunday, May 3.
A resident saw the woman’s son burying what appeared to be an object.
The resident asked a relative to check the area.
The relative discovered a human foot protruding from the ground and immediately alerted police.
Lawmen secured and the Scene-of-the-Crime Operatives (SOCO) processed the area.
Police withheld the identities of the victim and the suspect as further investigation is ongoing.
The suspect is under the custody of the Bokod Municipal Police Station and facing a possible parricide case.
