New Muntinlupa police chief vows tighter peace and order
Col. Aladdin Tamayo, a former Davao Region police official, formally assumed command as acting Muntinlupa police chief on May 4, replacing Col. Robert Domingo.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon introduced Tamayo during the flag-raising ceremony at the Muntinlupa City hall quadrangle, expressing full support for the new leadership.
Before his new assignment, Tamayo headed the Regional Police Security and Protection Unit 11 (Davao Region).
Tamayo holds degrees in Public Safety and Criminology, along with a Master's in Business Administration.
He paid a courtesy call on Biazon where he presented his initial plans for peace and order, public safety, and police-community partnership.
“This courtesy call marks our renewed commitment to work hand-in-hand with the city leadership. Under the guidance of Mayor Biazon, we will intensify our operations and community engagement to maintain a safe, peaceful, and progressive environment for all residents and stakeholders,” said Tamayo.
Biazon assured his support to Tamayo and the entire Muntinlupa police.
