Festivities for the Maytime Festival 2026 in Antipolo City continue to draw huge crowds, making it one of the most colorful and jubilant season of the year.
The celebration highlights the city's deep religiosity, artistry, and rich cultural heritage, bringing together residents, visitors, and pilgrims from across the province and beyond.

The International Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage (Antipolo Cathedral), in partnership with the city government, has lined up a series of activities for the celebration.

The pilgrimage season officially began on May 5 with a dawn procession from the Cathedral to Pinagmisahan Hill at 6 a.m., followed by a holy Mass at 7 a.m.

Later that day, the Virgen de Antipolo replica exhibit opened at the Mater Dei Building's second floor where it will remain accessible to the public until May 22.
Antipolo Bishop Most. Rev. Ruperto Cruz Santos, DD, was scheduled to celebrate a solemn Mass at 5 p.m., followed by a grand procession featuring the Virgin of Antipolo and patronal saints from several basilicas and shrines.
Pilgrims and devotees are expected to attend hourly holy Masses throughout the pilgrimage season which will run until July 7.

The Antipolo City government also launched cultural festivities with a grand float parade and street dance competitions on May 3.
Mayor Casimiro “Junjun” Ynares III emphasized that the season will be filled with activities showcasing the city’s traditions, hospitality, and devotion.

Antipolo National High School emerged as the champion, winning P250,000, followed by San Jose NHS as first runner-up with P200,000, and San Isidro NHS as second runner-up with P150,000.00.
San Jose NHS also claimed the Festival Queen 22026 crown and several other awards, including Best in Street dance and Best in Costume.
Other schools such as San Roque NHS and Antipolo NHS also earned recognition in various categories.
Equally vibrant was the float parade, which showcased creative and colorful designs inspired by popular themes.
Barangay Mambugan took the championship prize of P300,000 with its Five Nights at Freddy's float. Barangay San Isidro followed as first runner-up with Clash of Clans, while Barangay Sta. Cruz secured second with Kirby.
Barangay San Luis earned third runner-up with Candy Crush, and Barangay San Jose completed the lineup as fourth runner-up with Metal Slug.
