ACEN extends ₱3.8 billion in loans for Luzon clean energy
ACEN Corp. is expanding its credit support for domestic projects as it nears a critical midterm capacity target.
ACEN said it secured two separate loan agreements totaling ₱3.85 billion to fund a wind farm in Quezon province and a battery storage site in Zambales.
ACEN said that it entered into a short-term loan facility with GA6, the special purpose vehicle tasked with developing the Quezon North wind power project.
Separately, ACEN finalized an ₱850 million loan for Palauig Solar 1 Inc. This capital is earmarked for the development of a battery energy storage system (BESS), in Zambales. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
