Jaehyun, Kim Woo-seok officially discharged from military duty
K-pop idols Jaehyun of NCT and Kim Woo-seok have officially been discharged from the South Korean military.
Both 29, Jaehyun and Kim Woo-seok enlisted on Nov. 4, 2024, and completed their 18-month mandatory service.
“Discharged,” NCT’s official X account posted on May 3, sharing photos of Jaehyun, including one with fellow member Jungwoo, who is currently serving in the military.
Jaehyun completed his service as part of the Army Military Band. Fans gathered at the discharge site to welcome him back.
He is the second NCT member to finish mandatory military service, following leader Taeyong, who was discharged last December after serving in the Navy.
Meanwhile, Kim Woo-seok is a former member of the boy groups X1 and UP10TION.
“Thank you for waiting for such a long time and for celebrating my discharge with me,” he wrote on social media after completing his service. He served as an active-duty soldier and was also part of the military band.
Prior to his enlistment in October 2024, Kim Woo-seok confirmed his relationship with actress Kang Na-eon.
The two first met while working together on the web drama “Social Savvy Class 101.”
