The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has placed its entire force on full alert and deployed security units across the city to ensure peace and order during the Labor Day observance.
QCPD Chief Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio said the heightened security status took effect yesterday and will remain in force until 12:01 a.m. of May 2.
Police units have been deployed to identified areas of concern as part of security operations.
Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) contingents, anti-criminality teams, traffic management personnel, emergency response units, and other support groups are tasked to maintain public safety and order throughout the observance.
The District Reactionary Standby Support Force (DRSSF) has also been placed on standby to provide immediate reinforcement when needed.
Coordination lines and rapid response systems remain active for the duration of the alert period.
Silvio urged the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activities or incidents to authorities through the E911/QC Helpline 122 or by contacting the nearest police personnel.
