IBAAN, Batangas – A 48-year-old construction worker found dead with a bullet wound in the head in Barangay Santo Nino here on Thursday night, April 30.
Police said the body of the victim Allan was found in a creek. Recovered near the victim were five 12-gauge shotgun shells.
In Tanauan City, this province, a 32-year-old four-months pregnant businesswoman was shot and wounded on Thursday night in Sitio Bucluran, Barangay Darasa.
Police identified the victim as Pauline.
Investigation said the victim was tending to her bakery when two men onboard a motorcycle arrived and shot her in the neck.
She was taken to the Healthway Medical Center and the suspects wearing black helmets and black t-shirts escaped.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing on these two cases.
Meanwhile, a three-year-old boy was found dead on a box culvert on Saturday morning, April 25, in Barangay Santo Niño, Mulanay, Quezon.
Police identified the victim as Jasper Arandia.
Investigation said the victim went outside their house to play with his siblings. However, he did not return with his siblings and was found floating on a box culvert at the back of their house.
He was declared dead in a clinic and police reported no indication of foul play where Jasper was found.
