A new mix combines dark-roasted beans with a smoother finish. Great Taste is building on that with its new Premium Roast Coffee Mix, introduced alongside actor Jericho Rosales. The blend uses dark-roasted Robusta beans, combined with milk and palm sugar, resulting in a cup that is strong but still rounded.

The mix is positioned as an option for those who prefer a bolder cup, something that holds up through long hours or mid-afternoon fatigue. The profile is straightforward, full-bodied coffee with a touch of creaminess and sweetness.

“I like strong coffee, and Great Taste Premium Roast brings me closer to the people I connect with—the everyday Filipinos who understand hard work and supporting the people they care about,” Jericho said.

Now working as a film producer, he described the shift as one that comes with added pressure and responsibility.

“I have to be the parent of the group. I need to learn how to seamlessly balance creative and business processes,” he said.

With three decades in the industry, including projects such as Quezon and The Loved One, Jericho continues to keep a full schedule. He said he makes time to step back when needed, finding ways to reset between work.

“I always make time to learn and stay productive, but when I feel overwhelmed, I focus on doing fun things to take my mind off work.”
