PHINMA Corp., the Philippine conglomerate with interests ranging from education to construction, bolstered its senior management team with the promotion of three internal executives to vice president roles.
In a statement, PHINMA announced that the group elevated Rey A. Cervera, Danielle R. del Rosario, and Maria Monica H. Cueto-Mamites to the vice presidency, effective immediately.
Ramon R. del Rosario, Jr., PHINMA chairman and chief executive officer, said the moves were a validation of the company’s internal talent development program. He noted that the leadership expansion is designed to deepen the group's capacity for responsible growth as it contributes to national development.
Cervera takes the helm of the group’s steel operations, concurrently serving as president and chief executive officer of Union Galvasteel Corp. (UGC).
A veteran of the construction materials sector both in the Philippines and abroad, Cervera was previously UGC’s chief operating officer.
His primary mandate involves revitalizing the steel roofing and cladding division, leveraging the 60-year history of the Union brand to meet modern architectural demands.
Meanwhile, del Rosario has been appointed vice President for Insulated Panels and Solar Energy. In addition to her corporate role, she will lead Union Insulated Panel Corp. (UIPC) and PHINMA Solar Energy Corp. as president and CEO.
Her leadership comes at a critical juncture for the division as it pivots toward sustainable building solutions and renewable energy for industrial clients.
A key driver for this segment is the upcoming manufacturing facility in Porac, Pampanga. Scheduled to commence operations in July 2026, the plant is expected to produce over one million square meters of insulated panels annually, supporting the country's growing cold storage and energy-efficient construction needs.
Rounding out the appointments, Cueto-Mamites assumes the dual role of vice president for Corporate Services and Planning and chief risk officer.
Bringing experience from the PHINMA Construction Materials Group, her remit includes business planning, investment analysis, and enterprise risk management.
