Tourists destinations in Rizal Province will see more uniformed police this summer as authorities boost visibility and security for visitors.
Police Regional Office Calabarzon director Brig. Gen. Hansel M. Marantan ordered the deployment of additional officers to tourist hubs, strengthening coordination between local governments and the Philippine National Police.
He announced the plan during the Rizal Mayors League meeting hosted by Binangonan local government.

Binangonan Mayor Rhea Ynares welcomed the move, saying the increased police presence will support mayor's efforts to maintain peace and order in their areas.

Marantan earlier visited the Rizal Police Provincial Office headquarters in Taytay, meeting chiefs of police from the province's 14 municipalities,along with PPO director Col. Eleazar Barber, Jr.
He emphasized discipline, integrity, and professionalism in police service, urging officials to intensify anti-crime programs, increase visibility, and strengthen community coordination.
Rizal's tourist attractions include the Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs, St. Ursula Parish Church, and the International Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo City, among other historic and religious and religious sites.
