The Quezon City government has launched its Open Data Dashboards via the QC eServices portal, giving residents real-time access to key program data to promote transparency, accountability, and citizen participation.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said the initiative enhance open governance by allowing QCitizens to access reliable information, monitor government programs and services, and participate in local policymaking.
Developed by the Quezon City Information Technology Development Department (ITDD) in coordination with city government offices, the platform integrates various datasets into a single system to provide timely, accessible public information.
For its initial rollout, the dashboards feature data from major city programs and services, including QC Helpline 122, the Free Maintenance Medicine Program, services for persons with disability, the Pangkabuhayang QC program, scholarship initiatives, and QCID records.
The city government said the platform will initially cover datasets from 2019 onward, depending on the implementation timelines of each program.
Quezon City said the dashboards also allow residents to track how government services are delivered and how public funds are utilized.
The local government added that it will continue expanding the platform in the coming weeks with additional datasets to further improve public access to information and support data-driven governance.
