Dagupan readies for Bangus Festival street party

DAGUPAN CITY – Preparations for the Bangus Festival street party here on April 30 are almost complete, the city government said Tuesday.
Mayor Belen Fernandez and tourism officer Sharon Maramba conducted an inspection to ensure that preparations are moving smoothly.
Around 20,000 milkfish will be grilled during the event.
Tents and grilling stations have been established on the New De Venecia Road Extension and CSI mall.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the street party, one of the highlights of the annual festival, amid the ongoing crisis.
Police assured tight security for the event and first responders ready for any emergency.
