2 hurt as pickup truck rams eatery, 3 other structures

TIAONG, Quezon – A waitress and a woman were injured and four establishments, including an eatery, and a car were damaged when a pickup truck rammed them in Barangay Lalig here on Saturday afternoon, April 25.
Police identified the injured as Maria, 22, waitress of the eatery, and Nancy, 58, housewife.
Investigation said Christian, 28, lost control of the pickup truck, sideswiped the car parked on the roadside, and crashed into an eatery, a house, a store, and a commercial building.
The injured were taken to the Candelaria District Hospital in Quezon.
Damage to properties were not disclosed. Christian faces appropriate charges.
