Police arrested a woman who is facing 20 counts of qualified theft in Taguig on April 24.
Taguig police identified the suspect as alias Mitch, 49, a resident of Barangay Upper Bicutan, who is listed as No. 4 most wanted person for May this year.
She was arrested at her residence by elements from the District Mobile Force Battalion of the Southern Police District.
She is facing 20 counts of qualified theft under Article 310 in relation to Article 308 of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
The warrant of arrest was issued by Presiding Judge Ryan Scott Fiesta Robiños of the Mandaluyong Regional Trial Court Branch 278 with a total recommended bail of P408,000.
She is under the custody of the Mandaluyong police’s custodial facility.
"The arrest highlights the effective teamwork and persistence of our units on the ground. We remain committed to sustaining operations against all wanted persons,” said Col. Glenn Oliver Cinco, acting SPD district director.
