The Silver Scales Art Exhibit featuring artists from Pangasinan is ongoing at SM Center Dagupan as part of the Bangus Festival celebration.
Among the featured artists are Mark Lawrence Lopez of Dagupan City and Jeo Morados of Urbiztondo, Pangasinan.
The free exhibit features pieces inspired by coastal life, local folklore, and the province’s iconic bangus industry.
The April 24 to 30 exhibit with paintings, mixed media, and indigenous sculptures reflecting the resilience and creativity of the people of Pangasinan supports local artists by providing a platform to connect with the public and celebrate culture through art.
Artist Gino Tioseco thanked the opportunity and called for stronger and wider support for Pangasinan artists, especially through initiatives that give them greater visibility.
Organizers said the exhibit not only celebrates art but also strengthens the cultural spirit of the Bangus Festival and proves that Pangasinan’s creative community continues to thrive.
