- Steve Harvey joins Dingdong Dantes in a video call to congratulate Family Feud Philippines on its 4th anniversary, teasing a possible US studio visit and contestant appearance.
Steve, host of the US version of the hit game show, personally congratulated Dingdong on the success of the Philippine edition, which is now celebrating its 4th anniversary.
“I’ve been hearing a lot of noise all the way over there. I heard you’re killing it,” Steve said. “I want to officially congratulate you on the massive success of ‘Family Feud’ over there in the Philippines. I don’t know how you’re doing it without me, really.”
Dingdong responded with gratitude, saying the praise meant a lot coming from Steve. He then shared a dream of visiting the US set, not just as a guest, but as a contestant.
“I have a dream that one of these days, I want to fly over there and visit you in the studio. But I don’t just want to watch. I want to be a contestant,” Dingdong said. “So what do I do? Do I have to audition?”
Steve quickly shut that down with humor. “Oh, you don’t. Bring your beautiful family,” he said. “Just don’t be mad when I roast you if you say something crazy.”
The exchange ended on a warm note, with Dingdong promising to visit soon and Steve replying, “Right back at ya, brother. Survey says you’re doing a great job.”
The lighthearted call capped off the show’s 4th anniversary celebrations, which have featured several star-studded guest appearances in recent weeks.
