QC police vehicle crashes into wall in Payatas; 4 cops, 6 others injured

Ten individuals, including four police officers and six persons under police custody, were injured after a Quezon City Police District (QCPD) service vehicle slammed into a concrete wall in Payatas, Quezon City on Friday morning, April 24.
The incident occurred along Payatas Road corner Group 5 in Barangay Payatas B past 11 a.m., according to QCPD Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer Ganaban.
Initial reports showed that a QCPD pickup-type service vehicle collided with a concrete wall, injuring all its occupants.
The injured were immediately brought for medical treatment.
Authorities said information has surfaced indicating possible brake failure as a cause of the crash.
However, Ganaban stressed that the incident remains under investigation as officials continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the mishap.
