ANTOK
DAVAO CITY – A Manila-based political consultancy firm has denied circulating reports that it conducted a survey in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
In a statement, Publicus Asia Inc. clarified that it did not conduct any Pahayag 2026 2nd Quarter Survey claiming that parliament member Dr. Tomanda D. Antok has earned high approval and trust ratings in the region.
But it had already conducted a first quarter survey and the result that came out on April 1 did not cover BARMM.
“We do not have anything to do with an entity by the name ‘Publicus News Mindanao.’ We are informing and warning MP Antok on the matter. Our legal counsel is also looking into this,” the consultancy firm said.
Publicus Asia Inc. appealed to the public, media partners, and online communities to verify the source and accuracy of information before sharing any content.
Antok is the chairman of the Bangsamoro Federal Party, a newly-formed political party that will take part in the first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro region in September.
He has yet to release a statement on the issue.
