Lucas exits SM Entertainment as exclusive contract ends

Lucas has officially parted ways with SM Entertainment.

In a statement, SM Entertainment confirmed that Lucas’ contract with them concluded on April 24.

“We would like to sincerely thank all fans for your continued love and support for Lucas. We hereby inform you that the exclusive contract with Lucas has concluded as of April 24th,” the agency said.

It added that it would “cherish every moment shared, from the early trainee days to the various activities Lucas took part in after his debut,” and said it will continue to support him as he begins a new chapter. The agency also asked fans to extend their encouragement to his future endeavors.

Following the contract termination, Lucas’ official Weverse Community will also be discontinued on May 22. Weverse confirmed that access to the community will no longer be available after 6:00 p.m. (KST) on that date, thanking fans for their support.

SM Entertainment also announced that Lucas’ official fan club community will close on the same day and time. Physical album sales through the Weverse Shop will likewise end on May 22 at 6:00 p.m. (KST).

After that date, all related fan club and community services for Lucas will no longer be accessible.
