Housewife arrested for child abuse

A 45-year-old housewife was arrested for child abuse on Thursday, April 23, in Balayan, Batangas.
Police identified the suspect as May.
May, a provincial most wanted person, was apprehended on a warrant issued by the
Regional Trial Court Branch 9, Balayan, Batangas, for four counts of violating Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act).
The court set a bail of P120,000 for each count. The suspect is detained at the Balayan MPS.
Meanwhile, a helper was arrested for allegedly stabbing his two employers on Thursday in Lemery, Batangas.
The suspect was identified as Mario.
The victims – Pedro, 69, and Araceli, 67 – are recovering in a hospital.
Police recovered the knife used in the incident and the suspect faces appropriate charges.
In Mulanay, Quezon, a motorcycle rider was beaten to death in Barangay Santa Rosa Thursday.
Investigation said the victim Dario was driving a motorcycle when the suspect wearing a black jacket, black jeans, and a black helmet, emerged from a grassy area onboard a black motorcycle, and struck the victim in the face multiple times with a blunt object.
The victim died on the spot and the suspect fled.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
