Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari reacts to her checking into a treatment facility after DUI arrest

Sam Asghari is sharing his prerogative on Britney Spears' latest chapter.

The former "Traitors" cast member commented on his ex-wife’s decision to admit herself to a treatment center after her DUI arrest in March, saying he’s glad she’s concentrating on recovery and positive progress.

In a report by TMZ, Sam shared his thoughts about his ex-wife voluntarily checking herself into a treatment facility.

"I think it's great," Sam, 32, told the outlet. "I think anything that has anything to do with healing and great things."

He added, "And as long as the person is in charge of that, it's all great."

Sam was also asked if he had been in touch with Britney, 44, since entering the facility, to which he replied he hadn't.

During an interview with Fox News in March, The "Traitors" star shared his reaction to his ex-wife's arrest some two days after.

"When it comes to people making mistakes, I understand that," he said at the time.

Added Sam of the Grammy-winning singer, "I think that everyone deserves privacy. And I hope the press has learned from the past, that they give her the privacy that she needs."
