Through its Car-Free Sundays initiative, Vermosa transforms select roads into a shared, car-free environment every Sunday. More than just an open road, the program creates a setting where people can run, cycle, walk, or spend time outdoors together. Weekly fitness classes are also available for those looking to join guided workouts.
At its core, Car-Free Sundays is about enabling movement while fostering community engagement. On these opened roads, fitness groups, families, and casual visitors come together in a space designed to encourage interaction, creating a weekly rhythm of shared experiences. The initiative also promotes a more sustainable lifestyle by reducing carbon emissions within the estate during these dedicated hours, reinforcing the importance of creating spaces that are both people-centered and environmentally conscious.

The weekly event welcomes the populace to reclaim space for movement, connection, and more mindful living. John Estacio, the senior project development head at Vermosa, stated, "Vermosa is designed to be more than just a place; it’s meant to be experienced." “Car-Free Sundays is one of the ways we open up the estate to the community, encouraging people to move, connect, and make the space their own.”
Open to the public, Car-Free Sundays at Vermosa welcomes guests of all ages and visitors to bring their pets while enjoying the open roads, provided safety and shared-space guidelines are observed. Designated parking areas and transport options make it easy and accessible for visitors to join the activities. The Vermosa Transport Terminal operates from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and offers Sunday services, including modern jeepneys and UV Express to Alabang, multicabs within Imus, and tricycles for nearby access.

Located in Cavite and designed as a dynamic mixed-use estate, Vermosa by Ayala Land Estates continues to evolve as a destination for active living and everyday balance. Easily accessible via Daang Hari Road and major routes such as SLEX and MCX, the estate offers a seamless escape for families, fitness communities, and individuals looking to recharge just outside the metro.
Through Car-Free Sundays, Vermosa brings to life the vision of “A Life Well Played,” where movement, community, and sustainability come together in a space designed not just for living but for living well.
As the initiative continues, the estates invite the public to make Car-Free Sundays part of their week, bringing together friends, families, and communities in a space designed for movement and meaningful connection.
