&Team achieves third consecutive million-selling album with 'We on Fire'
&Team, HYBE’s global boy group, has achieved its third consecutive million-selling record with its new album, We on Fire.
We on Fire sold 1,090,261 copies on its first day of release, topping South Korea’s Hanteo Chart daily album rankings on April 21.
The milestone was announced to the members during a fan showcase in Seoul on April 21. Leader EJ said, “Thank you so much. We’re truly grateful to LUNÉ [fans]. We’re so happy to receive such incredible results. We’re always the ones receiving so much, so we want to give back by showing an even better side of ourselves.”
“It really feels like a dream. Thank you, as always, for the surprises. And thank you as well to LUNÉ who joined us online. I think this is a great start,” added sub-leader Fuma.
Their previous album, Back to Life, released last October, sold 1.13 million copies on its first day.
The group’s third single, Go in Blind, also earned a Million certification from the Japan Gold Disc Awards last year.
&Team will kick off its second Asia tour, Blaze the Way, on May 13 at K-Arena Yokohama in Japan. The tour will span 11 cities across Asia, expanding the group’s reach to a wider global audience.
&Team debuted under HYBE Japan’s YX Labels with nine members: EJ, Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki.
