Road closures, rerouting set for April 25 Manila Summer Pride Parade

Motorists are advised to brace for traffic disruptions in parts of Manila on April 25, as several roads will be temporarily closed to give way to the Manila Summer Pride Parade 2026.

The Manila Public Information Office (PIO) released maps showing the road closures, rerouting, and stop-and-go traffic points to be implemented across the city on April 25 for the Manila Summer Pride Parade.

 Starting at 2 p.m., P. Faura Street (from Taft Avenue to Adriatico Street) and J. Bocobo Street (from San Andres Street to Remedios Circle) will be off-limits to vehicles.

To ease congestion, rerouting schemes will be in place. Vehicles coming from P. Faura Street may turn either left or right onto Taft Avenue to reach their destinations. 
Meanwhile, those traveling from San Andres Street may turn right onto Ma. Orosa Street or proceed straight to Roxas Boulevard service road.

Authorities will also enforce a stop-and-go traffic scheme at key intersections to manage the flow of vehicles.

Intermittent traffic control will be implemented at the following intersections:
-Roxas Boulevard / Kalaw Avenue 
-Kalaw Avenue / M. H. Del Pilar Street 
-M. H. Del Pilar Street / U.N. Avenue 
-M. H. Del Pilar Street / P. Faura Street 
-P. Faura Street / A. Mabini Street 
-P. Faura Street / Adriatico Street
-Adriatico Street corners: Sta. Monica, Salas, Pedro Gil, Gen. Malvar, and J. Nakpil .

Authorities urged motorists to plan their trips ahead of time and take alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during the event.
