4 gas pilferers caught in Laguna

ALAMINOS, Laguna – Police arrested three drivers and a helper for pilfering gasoline from a tanker on Wednesday night, April 22, on the Alaminos-Lipa Bypass Road in Barangay San Miguel, this town.
The suspects were identified as drivers Roberto, 34; Fernan, 33; and Mark Paolo Samson, 29, and helper Jerico Santos, 30.
The suspects were caught in the act of transferring gasoline worth P40,000 from a tanker to a drum. They and pieces of evidence are in the custody of the Alaminos police.
Police have informed the suspects' employer of their modus operandi and charges have been filed against them.
