Top Korean stars Park Min-young, Ahn Hyo-seop, Seo Kang-jun headline new dramas
Some of South Korea’s biggest names are heading back to television this year, with Park Min-young, Ahn Hyo-seop, and Seo Kang-jun leading a fresh slate of Korean originals.
The projects were unveiled during the “Prime Video Presents: Philippines” event, where Prime Video Southeast Asia highlighted three new Korean titles set to premiere this year.
“We are very proud to announce not one, not two, but three first-time Prime Originals in Korean,” said Chaitanya Divan, head of Content Acquisition at Prime Video Southeast Asia.
Leading the lineup is “A Love Other Than Yours,” arriving in September and headlined by Seo Kang-jun alongside Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Joo Ahn, and Jo Aram. The romance follows a couple in a decade-long relationship forced to decide whether to marry or part ways.
Ahn Hyo-seop, meanwhile, takes on the lead role in “Final Table” (working title), a high-stakes culinary drama set in an elite cooking competition to crown the world’s best Korean chef. He plays Kang Han, a globally renowned chef drawn into the contest after an unexpected turn of events.
Park Min-young returns in “Nine to Six,” an office romance slated for release in the fourth quarter. She stars with Yook Sung-jae and Go Soo in a story about a driven deputy manager and a kind-hearted intern navigating love, career, and societal pressures inside a corporate setting.
Beyond the trio, more Korean content is on the way. “See You At Work Tomorrow!” premieres in June 2026, starring Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun in a workplace romance about burnout and unexpected connection.
“Love in Disguise,” set for October 2026, pairs Yim Si-wan and Seorina in a story about an undercover bodyguard who falls for the man she is assigned to protect.
Historical epic “Sacred Jewel” features Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, Claudia Kim, Ha Yoon-kyoung, and Yoon Kyun-sang, following warriors tasked with retrieving a sacred relic during the Mongol invasions.
Rounding out the slate is “Human X Gumiho,” starring Gianna Jun and Ji Chang-wook, a fantasy rom-com about a centuries-old fox spirit whose powers fail on one man—sparking an unlikely romance.
