Mystery at Coachella: Madonna's iconic vintage outfits missing
By Neil Ramos
Pop icon Madonna revealed that several of her vintage outfits went missing following her surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The singer shared on social media that the purple jacket, corset, and dress she wore during her performance with Sabrina Carpenter are now unaccounted for. The pieces are archival items from her early 2000s “Confessions on a Dance Floor” era, making them highly valuable both historically and personally.
“These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history,” Madonna said, as she offered a reward to anyone who can help recover the missing items.
According to authorities in Indio, California, there is currently no evidence of theft.
The items were last seen shortly after her Weekend 2 performance, where Madonna joined Carpenter onstage for a medley that included “Vogue,” “Like a Prayer,” and new material.
The incident comes as Madonna gears up for the release of “Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II,” a sequel to her 2005 album, further amplifying interest in the missing vintage pieces tied to that era.
Police continue to ask for the public’s help as the search for Madonna’s lost Coachella outfits remains ongoing.
