Heeseung makes first public appearance as Evan

Heeseung, the controversial former member of K-pop boy band ENHYPEN, has made his first public appearance as Evan.

Evan attended the opening of a color contact lens store at the Musinsa Megastore in Seoul on April 22.

Fans were present at the venue, eager to show him support.

Videos show Evan waving at them as he leaves.

Belift Lab, ENHYPEN’s agency, announced his departure from the group last March 10.

ENGENES, the collective name for ENHYPEN fans, launched a petition to bring him back to the group to no avail.

On April 8, Belift Lab announced that Heeseung had changed his stage name to Evan.

“Evan is a name I’ve cherished since childhood, one that holds many of my most precious memories. Through this name, I hope to reach fans with music that fully expresses my most honest and natural self,” said Evan.
