Farmer drowns during family outing in Pangasinan

ALAMINOS CITY, Pangasinan – A 58-year-old farmer drowned while swimming in the sea of Quezon Island here Tuesday.
Investigation said the victim was drinking during an outing with his family at around 3:35 p.m. and decided to swim while his 27-year-old daughter was cooking in a cottage.
His daughter saw her father floating on the sea. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Authorities reminded people to always be cautious and avoid swimming while drunk.
