P1.5-M shabu seized, 2 pushers nabbed in Parañaque buy-bust

Police collared two suspected drug pushers in a pre-dawn buy-bust, seizing P1.53 million worth of shabu in Barangay Baclaran, Parañaque City, on April 21.
Parañaque City Police chief Col. Nicolas Piñon identified the suspects as “Muksimin,” 27, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI), and “Jarbby,” 22, a newly identified street-level individual (SLI). Both are residents of Barangay 145, Pasay City.
Police said operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) launched the entrapment operation at around 3:20 a.m. on Sta. Rita Extension after receiving information about the suspects’ alleged involvement in illegal drug trade in Baclaran.
The suspects were cuffed after selling suspected shabu to an undercover police operative.
Seized from “Muksimin” were about 212 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P1,441,600, along with the marked money, a mobile phone, and a black sling bag.
Authorities also recovered about 13 grams of suspected shabu worth P88,400 from “Jarbby.” bringing the total to 225 grams with an estimated street value of P1,530,000.
The suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office.
