Man shot dead in cold blood; Caloocan police hunt gunman

A man was shot dead at point-blank range on Buklod ng Nayon Street in Barangay 8, Caloocan City on Monday evening, April 20.
The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) said the victim alias “Johny,” was leaning against a post around 7 p.m. when the assailant suddenly approached and fired a bullet straight to his head. He died on the spot.
The suspect fled on foot after the shooting.
CCTV footage has been recovered and is now being being reviewed to help identify and track down the gunman.
Police said investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the killing as follow-up operation continues.
