I was just on the phone with my dear friend, the "Prince of Pop" himself, Erik Santos and I’m feeling extra inspired by the magic of music and the power of a "full-circle" moment.
You know how I always say that in this crazy, beautiful industry we call showbiz, only the ones with true heart and grit stay on top? Erik is the living embodiment of that.
We were reminiscing on his journey. And he told me, “Ate Giselle, can you believe it that it has been over 22 years since I was the "wildcard" entry in Star in a Million? I was so shy and super thin then.”
Erik’s story is a beautiful symphony of perseverance and faith. And let me tell you, he is still very much "whistle-bait" and at the top of his game!
He shared some exciting news while were talking.
“I am excited to announce to your readers that I am reuniting with my fellow vocal titans Christian Bautista and Jona for 'THREELOGY 3.0.' I know you have a lot of US-based readers, so I would like to invite them to Hard Rock Live in Sacramento on April 25, and Pechanga Theater California on April 26 to catch us live."
That's not all.
Erik tells Gossip Girl with much excitement, "We will then proceed to Canada wihere we will be joined by Jessica Sanchez and Sofronio Vasquez. We will be serenading Toronto on April 30, Edmonton on May 2, and Calgary on May 3.”

I asked the talented singer if he has new songs to share with audiences in this tour.
“Actually I do, I just dropped two brand-new singles! 'Tinatapos Na Ba' is a powerhouse collaboration with the OPM Avengers, namely, me, Ogie Alcasid, Nyoy Volante, Khimo Gumatay, and Yeng Constantino. I also released a version of 'Love Will Lead You Back.' I produced both tracks alongside the genius Jonathan Manalo.”
Wow! Erik isn’t just conquering stages; he’s also making waves in the recording booth.
And it’s so inspiring to see him evolve into a producer too—that’s growth, darlings!
For the music purists like me, I just love it that he just released his very first live album on double vinyl titled "Erik Santos: Greatest Hits Live." There’s something so soulful about the crackle of vinyl. It’s the perfect way to hear Erik's voice right in your living room. 
Through all the platinum hits and sold-out arenas, Erik has remained the same humble, God-fearing man I’ve always known. He’s faced personal heartbreaks, especially losing his beloved parents, but he’s turned that pain into a gift for others.
