As nostalgia revival continues to dominate the scene, pieces from the past have become the it-items of today. A testament to that is the Casio Vintage collection, which puts the spotlight on the enduring appeal of the brand’s iconic digital watches.
On April 10, 2026, the brand threw the ultimate throwback party at Baked Studios in Makati City for its “Back In Time, Ahead In Style” celebration. Attendees arrived donning their best retro-modern fits inspired by the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, and Y2K fashion movements. The space featured setups designed to mirror different style eras, each showcasing Casio’s latest offerings: the AQ-240, AQ-240EG-9A, A159WA-N1, and AQ-230 series.
Keeping everyone in high spirits were the retro-modern beats of Kat DJ and the electrifying performance of Filipino band Over October. Present at the party were Casio Singapore’s regional senior marketing manager for Timepiece Marketing Division, Kevin Tan, and regional sales manager for Sales and Marketing Timepiece Division, Sena Kuroda.
“Across the region, Casio Vintage has already made its mark in fashion, music, and social media. It is a true symbol that great design transcends time,” Sena said.
“Each timepiece connects the past with the present, embodying the brand’s spirit: simple, stylish, and truly timeless,” Kevin added. “As we expand further into Southeast Asia, we have seen incredible growth. Casio Vintage is not just a trend; it is a powerful way to express personal individuality, impeccable style, and undeniable confidence.”
Through “Back In Time, Ahead In Style,” Casio invites both first-time vintage explorers and longtime collectors to rediscover the charm of these iconic timepieces. The showcase celebrates a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, innovation, and design that has resonated across generations.
