Gunmen raid Rizal eatery; diners robbed of gadgets, cash

Two armed men stormed an eatery before dawn Friday, April 17, robbing customers at gunpoint and fleeing with gadgets, cash, and a motorcycle on E. Rodriguez Highway in Bangangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the incident occurred at around 1:45 a.m. inside the eatery. 
Authorities said the victims were waiting for their food inside the establishment when the suspects, both wearing helmets, suddenly entered and declared a hold-up at gunpoint.
They then forcibly took from customers a wallet containing P2,000, an iPhone 16+, a Vivo Lite 5G One, a Samsung tablet, and an iPhone 13. They also snatched a sling bag containing P5,000 and various identification cards.
Authorities added that the suspects also took a customer’s motorcycle, a Yamaha Aerox V3, before fleeing.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and operations to identify and arrest the suspects.
