BACOLOD CITY – This year’s Panaad sa Negros Festival at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan here earned P29.4 million from April 13 to 19.
This was P12.8 million higher compared to last year with only P16.6 million. The highest sales were recorded on Saturday and Sunday, with P5.6 million and P5.7 million, respectively.
Charina Magallanes-Tan, Panaad sa Negros 2026 executive director, thanked people for their overwhelming support and participation in the 30th edition of the festival.
The Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) said the festival was generally peaceful due to effective law enforcement operations, strong inter-agency collaboration, and active community cooperation.
“The successful and peaceful conduct of this year’s festival did not happen by chance. It was the result of careful planning, close coordination, long hours of duty, and the unwavering commitment of every man and woman who served in this task group,” Police Brig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, PRO-NIR director, said.
