The Muntinlupa City government has allotted P100 million for the renovation of its very own city-funded university, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun).
Mayor Ruffy Biazon personally checked on the works, now at 50% completion.
The makeover includes new classrooms, a mini amphitheater, a student lounge, a satellite library, and fire exits. Even the old audio-visual room is being built to accommodate 150 to 200 students.
Biazon ordered wide big windows in every classroom to allow more light and ventilation.
PLMun is also preparing to open its College of Nursing, with the amphitheater doubling as lecture hall.
This follows the launch of the PLMun-OsMun College of Medicine, marking the university's bold expansion into health sciences.
