Let this summer season be your ultimate love affair with all things Filipino

For the latest iteration of the Kultura Crawl, the beloved retail store brings together local fashion, flavors, and crafts

As a tropical country, the Philippines is without a doubt one of the top places to be during summertime. Not only are its destinations rich in natural beauty, but they are also home to a variety of crafts, food, and styles that reflect Filipinos’ stories. Kultura brings all that under one roof.
For the latest edition of the Kultura Crawl, the retail store continues its mission of championing social enterprises, only this time in a bright, beach town–inspired market setting. Located at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall, Kultura Summer Crawl invites visitors to slow down, explore, and rediscover Filipino creativity through its array of booths and experiences.
During its opening day, Manila Bulletin Lifestyle got to tour this year’s crawl—and trust us, it is a summer destination on its own. There are plenty of booths featuring the best modern reimaginings of classic local eats, from comforting snacks such as kangkong and sweet potato chips with sinigang and salted egg flavors, to more herbal options like moringa teas. Adding an explosion of color to the crawl are the fashion booths. Handwoven apparel, painted accessories, and charming shoes showcase what Filipino hands can do.
But the best part of the Kultura Summer Crawl is how it gives consumers a chance to meet the people behind the products. More than just a marketplace, the crawl is a way for entrepreneurs to share their passion, stories, and create meaningful connections with customers.
