K-pop boy band Treasure heats up Manila with 'Pulse On' concert

K-pop boy band Treasure recently returned to the Philippines for a one-night concert.

Dubbed "Pulse On," fans eagerly trooped to the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 18 to catch it.

During the concert, member Jihoon recalled Treasure’s first performance in Manila in 2022.

“We went to Manila around the time we started going on overseas tours after going through Covid-19,” he said.

He added, “It hadn't been long since our debut, and honestly, while we go overseas a lot now, we couldn't travel much back then.”

Recall that months prior to their 2022 performance, several Treasure members were diagnosed with Covid-19.

Jihoon added, “So, we were a bit worried. But the Treasure Makers in Manila, even though they met us for the first time, sent us such passionate support and love, so we had a really good memory of Manila back then. You remember, right, members?”

He went on: “Manila was the first place where we faced our fans like this and heard such loud cheers through our in-ear monitors. We have so many fond memories of how the response was so great when we came out from backstage and under the stage to perform.”

“That makes us so happy to be able to come back for this Asia tour. As we mentioned earlier, when our new album comes out, we will be making music that is a bit different from our current style. I still have this thought that I want to show you all that cool side of ourselves and receive your passionate support again in Manila. Everyone, please stay healthy. We will be back."

During the show, Treasure performed “MMM,” “King Kong,” “Bona Bona,” “Boy,” “Jikjin,” “Move,” “Thank You,” “Volkno,” “Yellow,” “Come To Me,” “Saruru,” “Better Than Me,” “Now Forever,” “Paradise,” “Everything,” “B.L.T (Bling Like This),” “Hello,” “I Want Your Love” and “Run.”

During the encore, they sang “BFF (Best Friend Forever),” “Wonderland,” “Clap!,” ”Darari,” “B.O.M.B,” “”I Love You,” “Last Night,” “Going Crazy,” “Stupid,” and “Now Forever.”
