Celeste Cortesi announces pregnancy, celebrities react

Former beauty queen Celeste Cortesi has officially announced that she is expecting her first child, sharing the joyful news through a heartfelt Instagram post on April 19.

Cortesi revealed her pregnancy with a silhouette photo showing her baby bump, along with ultrasound images. She captioned the post simply but emotionally: “To love someone in the most selfless way.”

The announcement quickly drew attention online, with fans and fellow celebrities flooding the comments with congratulatory messages and words of support.

Among those who greeted Cortesi were fellow beauty queens and public figures who shared their excitement over her milestone.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder Chelsea Manalo wrote her congratulations, while Kylie Verzosa expressed her happiness for the expecting mom.

International pageant queen Anntonia Porsild also joined in, along with Beatrice Gomez, Chie Filomeno, Anchilee Scott Kemmis, Lou Yanong, Vicki Belo, and Raymond Gutierrez, all sending warm messages celebrating the new chapter in Cortesi’s life.

Cortesi, who has long kept her personal life away from the spotlight, later confirmed that her partner Jonathan Sterling is the father of her child.

Cortesi first rose to fame after winning Miss Philippines Earth 2018, later representing the Philippines internationally and finishing in the Top 8. She was eventually crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 before transitioning into entertainment and signing with Viva in 2024.
