SPD director Col. Glenn Oliver Cinco said the arrests marked significant gains in enforcing local ordinances under the campaign.
Cinco said public drinking remained the most common violation, with 198 cases recorded, followed by smoking in public places with 102 cases and curfew violations involving minors with 80.
Other recorded offenses include loitering while half-naked with 31 cases, karaoke beyond permitted hours with 33 cases, and other ordinance violations totaling 46.
The SPD chief said Makati recorded the highest number of apprehensions with 159 violators, followed by Taguig with 84, Muntinlupa with 64, Pasay with 61, Parañaque with 56, Las Piñas with 48, and Pateros with 18.
Cinco said that of the total, 448 individuals were issued warnings and subsequently released as part of SPD’s corrective and preventive approach.
No cases were elevated to formal charges during the reporting period, underscoring the emphasis on immediate correction and community-based enforcement.
He added that the results reflect a balanced enforcement strategy combining heightened police visibility and public education.
The SPD said the operations are designed not only to address violations but also to strengthen awareness of local ordinances and encourage voluntary compliance among residents.
