Vespa introduced a new generation of 180cc models at the Makina Moto Expo 2026 at the SMX Convention Center. The Vespa Sprint and Primavera 180cc collections emerge not merely as machines, but as declarations of high style. These new models arrive as Piaggio Philippines Corporation introduced itself as the distributor of Vespa motorcycles in the Philippines.
Nonetheless, Vespa continues to offer a unique space among scooters where their offerings inhabit a space somewhere between art, architecture, and wearable luxury. Vespa continues to articulate its identity through the simple power of their models’ presence; less as a machine and more as a manifesto of style.
The new models are powered by new 174.1cc single-cylinder engines. Power is now increased to 14.75-hp at 8,250 rpm and 13.7-Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The enhanced 180cc engine is engineered to provide smooth, resonant power delivery that matches its visual poise.
The Primavera 180cc is the more conservatively styled of the pear. Distinguished by its classic round headlight, its signature silhouette is elevated by newly designed rims and a redesigned speedometer, striking a balance between heritage aesthetics and modern clarity. The Primavera range starts at P218,000 for the Standard variant, P228,000 for the Primavera S, and P268,000 for the Primavera Tech.
The Sprint 180cc is distinguished by its square headlight and more modern styling. Its contemporary cues continue with sharp, sculpted lines and proportions. The Sprint introduces a more dynamic edge, further enhanced by a high-definition dashboard in the Tech variant that acts as a digital heart within a classic frame. The Sprint lineup starts at P238,000 for the Standard variant, P248,000 for the Sprint S, and P288,000 for the Sprint Tech.
Both models also come with a Keyless Start system that replaces the traditional key ignition. They’re brought to a stop by standard ABS brakes.
The new Vespa 180cc lineup is ready to be experienced at authorized dealerships nationwide.
