NCT's Taeyong, Anderson .Paak team up for 'Rock Solid'

K-pop group NCT’s Taeyong is back.

He is out with a new single that is seemingly a winner from the get go.
It is after all created in collaboration with Grammy winner Anderson .Paak. 

Out now via SM Entertainment is "Rock Solid," a bold, high-energy hip-hop sound driven by punchy drum patterns and an addictive, chant-led hook. 

Taeyong’s distinctive vocal tone and commanding, hard-hitting rap flow infuse the track with intensity, channeling a message of conviction, resilience, and self-assurance. 

It is Taeyong's first release in over two years following his Korean military service.

The track captures his determination to stay true to everything he has built so far, as well as his unwavering confidence in continuing to prove himself.

“I’ve wanted to work with Anderson for a long time, and this track felt like the perfect way to bring our styles together. Shooting the music video was also so much fun – he’s someone who’s always pushing creative boundaries, and that energy really inspired me to do the same,” said Taeyong about the collaboration. 

As a solo artist, he released his debut mini album “Shalala” in 2023 while “Tap” in 2024 showcased his range.
