Muntinlupa cops capture wanted drug convict in Cavite

Muntinlupa police arrested one of the city's most wanted fugitive, a convicted drug offender, during an operation in Bacoor, Cavite, on April 16. 

The suspect, alias Botay, 47, ranked No. 7 on Muntinlupa's top 10 most wanted list (station level), was tracked down by personnel from the Ayala Alabang Police Sub-station in Greentown Villas, Barangay Mambog 3, Bacoor.

Authorities executed the warrant of arrest for service of sentence on violations of Sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. 

The warrant was issued was issued by Presiding Judge Romeo Buenaventura of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 256. 

The suspect is now detained at the Muntinlupa City Police Station Custodial Facility, with the court of origin duly notified of the arrest.
