Taguig drug den dismantled, 3 nabbed in P2.4-M shabu bust
Anti-narcotics operatives of the Southern Police District (SPD) dismantled a drug den in Barangay Rizal, Taguig City, seizing P2.41 million worth of shabu and arresting three alleged big-time pushers in a buy-bust on Wednesday, April 15.
SPD’s District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), backed by the District Intelligence Division and Taguig Police Sub-station 10, carried out the sting.
Arrested along with Roma were alias Jeffrey, 48, and alias Marlon, 33.
Police seized 355.25 grams of shabu worth P2.41 million, along with a cellphone and buy-bust money.
The suspects and confiscated evidence were brought to the DDEU office for documentation.
They will face a complaint for violating Sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
"The arrest of these individuals is a clear message that the Southern Police District will never falter in its pursuit of justice,” said Col. Glenn Oliver Cinco, acting SPD district director.
