Red Ribbon is updating one of its signature offerings with the relaunch of its Ube Bloom cake, now made with more ube and a refreshed design aimed at everyday celebrations.
The new version features real ube halaya and 30 percent more ube, resulting in a fuller, more pronounced flavor in each slice.
The cake builds on the brand’s take on ube as a familiar yet evolving flavor, pairing a richer profile with a design that leans into visual appeal—an element that continues to shape how desserts are shared and experienced, particularly on social media.
Framed as both a flavor and presentation update, the Ube Bloom positions itself as an accessible option for occasions ranging from casual gatherings to seasonal celebrations such as Mother’s Day.
The product also reflects a broader shift in how everyday desserts are marketed, where “extra”—once seen as excessive—is now tied to care, effort, and personal expression, whether in food, gifting, or presentation.
Available in multiple sizes, the Ube Bloom cake starts at P250 for the petite variant and is offered in Red Ribbon stores nationwide as well as through online ordering platforms.
