Seven wanted persons, including a rape suspect, were arrested in coordinated “Warrant Day” operations conducted by the Northern Police District (NPD) in Valenzuela City and Malabon City.
NPD director Police Brig. Gen. Christopher R. Dela Cruz said the operations resulted in the arrest of one top most wanted person, two most wanted persons, and four other wanted persons.
In Valenzuela City, personnel of the Warrant and Subpoena Section, with the District Intelligence Unit, arrested a 48-year-old male listed as a top 10 most wanted person at the station level.
He was wanted for rape in relation to Republic Act 7610, the Anti-Child Abuse Law under a warrant issued by RTC Branch 270 in Valenzuela City in 2021.
In a separate operation, police arrested a 23-year-old male most wanted person for qualified theft involving three counts. The warrant was issued by RTC Branch 171 on April 13, 2026.
In Malabon City, operatives arrested a 27-year-old male most wanted person for carnapping under a warrant issued by RTC Branch 21 in Malolos, Bulacan in 2022.
Police said the remaining arrests involving other wanted persons were carried out in separate coordinated warrant operations under the same enforcement drive.
All arrested individuals underwent medical examination and were turned over to custodial units for documentation and proper disposition.
Commitment orders were prepared for return to the issuing courts.
Dela Cruz commended the operating units, citing sustained warrant enforcement efforts and continued police visibility operations across the district.
