“The Committee can soon discharge its functions, including the evaluation of complaints and conduct of hearings. We will proceed as soon as the Rules is published,” said Ejercito.
According to the senator, the signatures were completed Wednesday afternoon.
Ejercito moved to complete the remaining requirements, including securing the signatures of committee members, to operationalize the panel and ensure that it can finally move forward.

The next meeting of the Senate ethics panel will be held on April 28, where pending complaints will be reviewed for compliance with form and substance.
