3 drug suspects yield P3.5-M shabu in Bacoor

CAVITE – Authorities arrested three high-value drug suspects and seized P3.5 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City on Wednesday, April 15.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) identified the suspects as alias Popoy, alias Arcie, and alias Cathy, residents of Imus City.

Police said they had been under surveillance for alleged involvement in the distribution of illegal drugs in nearby areas.

The three were collared after a transaction with a poseur- buyer from the Bacoor Component City Police Station (Bacoor CCPS).

The suspects tried to evade arrest, but the police were able to subdue them.

Confiscated from their possession were more or less 518 grams of white crystalline substance.

Also confiscated were a cell phone believed to have been used for illegal transactions and a vehicle allegedly used for their drug operation.

The pieces of evidence were forwarded to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for laboratory examination.

The three suspects are facing drug charges.
